Lathe Machine Operator

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Lathe Operator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in operating manual and/or CNC lathe machines. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality precision components. Key Responsibilities: Independently set up and operate manual and CNC lathes for various turning operations. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions accurately. Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain strict tolerances. Monitor machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and ensure optimal production efficiency. Perform routine maintenance of lathe machines and keep the work area clean and safe. Troubleshoot issues with machinery or machining processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of production runs and quality checks. Follow safety standards and company operating procedures at all times. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in lathe operations (manual or CNC). Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and machine setup. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and work instructions. Experience in precision machining and working to tight tolerances. Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes. Physically fit to handle metal components and work in a manufacturing environment. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
