Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should be able to operate and maintain manual and/or CNC lathe machines to produce precise components as per the technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe machines to perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and other operations.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Select the correct tools, fixtures, and materials required for each job.
• Measure and inspect finished products using instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
• Maintain the lathe machine by performing routine checks and minor maintenance.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with quality and production teams to meet daily targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a lathe machine operator in a manufacturing setup.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of different materials like steel, aluminum, brass, etc.
• Familiar with measuring instruments and quality checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC lathe (if applicable).
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
• ITI in Turner/Fitter/Machinist or equivalent.
• Working days - 6 days(Monday to Saturday).
• Working Hours - 9 Hours (10am to 7pm)
