As a member of the R&D team in the PG PR R&D AUX Fluid Systems department based in Gurgaon (IND), you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of air and fluid systems. Your role will involve working on hardware and software engineering to design gas, oil, steam, and liquid fluid systems for various Large Gas Turbine (GT) frames. You will play a vital part in developing systems such as Control Oil System, Fuel Gas analyzer system, Purge Air system, and more for Siemens Gas Turbine (GT) packages, Steam Turbine (ST), and Generator (GN). Your responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of assigned fluid systems, creation of P&IDs, detailed system design, participation in the global platform team, challenging requirements, adapting designs to fulfill requirements, documentation, driving design to cost measures, specifying automation requirements, qualifying new components and suppliers, and providing field/site support. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical or Process Engineering or a related field, have 3 to 12 years of engineering experience, and possess excellent communication skills. You should also be willing to travel globally, be a team player, demonstrate high flexibility in taking on new tasks, show dedication to the product, and have a solid understanding of quality, costs, and delivery time interactions. Preferred qualifications include expertise in technical areas of work, proficiency in COMOS, Team Centre & SAP, R&D, project engineering, power generation business, Control Oil System, Fuel Gas analyzer system, Purge Air system, and fluid dynamics. This role is based in Gurgaon but may require travel to other locations in India and beyond.
