Laptop Repair Technician

As a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of electronic devices including gaming consoles, controllers, cameras, headphones, smartwatches, and other high-value gadgets. Your role is essential in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction by effectively restoring non-functional or faulty devices to working condition. Your key responsibilities will include diagnosing issues in electronic devices using specialized tools and technical knowledge, repairing or replacing defective components such as motherboards, HDMI ports, batteries, and more, conducting functional and quality checks post-repair, documenting each repair with detailed findings and actions taken, coordinating with the QC and customer service team for a seamless handover, managing repair tools, parts inventory, and safety protocols, and occasionally assisting in refurbishing products for resale. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in electronics repair, particularly in gadgets like PlayStation, Xbox, DSLR cameras, drones, etc. You must possess a strong understanding of circuit boards, soldering, and component-level repair, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and identify faults efficiently. Basic documentation and reporting skills are required, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new device categories. While certification in electronics or hardware repair is preferred, it is not mandatory. In addition to the core requirements, experience with tools like multimeters, hot air guns, soldering stations, and prior work experience in a repair center or startup environment would be advantageous.
