Job Description: Laparoscopic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Laparoscopic Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a strong background in general surgery and specialized training in minimally invasive techniques. This role involves performing a variety of laparoscopic procedures, providing expert patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical Procedures: Perform a wide range of laparoscopic surgeries, including but not limited to cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, and hysterectomy.
• Patient Care: Conduct pre-operative consultations, diagnose conditions requiring surgical intervention, and provide comprehensive post-operative care.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and safe surgical process.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient procedures, progress, and consultations.
• Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest advancements, techniques, and technologies in laparoscopic and general surgery through continuous learning and professional development.
• Patient Safety: Adhere to the highest standards of patient safety and surgical care protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: An MBBS degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
• Postgraduate Training: Completion of an MS (Master of Surgery) in General Surgery is a must.
• Specialized Training: A fellowship or diploma in minimal access surgery or laparoscopic surgery from a recognized body like the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES) is preferred and often required.
• Licensure: A valid medical license to practice surgery in India.
• Experience: Prior experience as a practicing laparoscopic surgeon is highly valued.
