As an IT Support person at Davies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our IT systems that power solutions for consumers worldwide. Your responsibilities will include overseeing IT systems and assets, assisting with upgrades and fixes, and providing necessary training and support. You will be responsible for carrying out ticket resolution through the ITSM tool, adhering to Service Management Processes and Procedures. By taking ownership and ensuring the resolution of issues, you will help reduce repeat IT problems. Additionally, you will provide on-call support to colleagues, with 50% of your role dedicated to voice support. Collaboration with other business and IT teams will be essential to implement permanent fixes and solutions. Managing business communications related to your services, coordinating and facilitating major incidents, and continually reviewing and maintaining service-related knowledge will be part of your daily tasks. You will also need to facilitate a seamless transition of any changes related to your services, ensuring minimal disruption to user experience. To excel in this role, you should be a problem solver with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a customer-centric approach are essential. Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory Management, Office 365/Administration, and Office365 suite is required. Additionally, knowledge of LAN/WAN principles, TCP/IP protocols, PC hardware diagnosis, set-up, and configuration, telephony systems, mobile device management, and ITIL4 foundation is expected.
