Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Land Documentation:
Collect, verify, and maintain all land-related documents such as RTC, mutation records, sale deeds, title deeds etc.
Draft and register lease agreements, sale deeds, and MoUs with landowners as per project requirements.
Ensure that all land documents are accurate, legally valid, and in line with state land acquisition norms.
Due Diligence:
Coordinate with legal teams to conduct title verification and legal due diligence for each parcel of land.
Identify any encumbrances, disputes, or risks related to land titles and resolve them proactively.
Liaison & Coordination:
Work closely with local revenue and land records departments (Tahsildar, Village Accountant, Sub-Registrar Office, etc.).
Maintain good relations with landowners, local communities, and village-level officers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Assist in obtaining necessary NOCs, approvals, and conversion orders (agricultural to non-agricultural land use).
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain organized records (physical and digital) of all land documents, agreements, and correspondences.
Prepare regular reports on land acquisition progress, documentation status, and risks.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with central and state land acquisition laws, Karnataka Land Reforms Act, and renewable energy policy guidelines.
Support audit and legal review processes with proper documentation and responses.
