LAMP Educator

As a LAMP Educator at PRC-Saltillo, you will play a vital role in providing outreach and training to clinicians, consumers, institutions, agencies, and consumer groups to support the LAMP approach and related products and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering training on the LAMP approach through various mediums such as in-person workshops, online trainings, conference presentations, in-services, and self-study modules. - Providing ongoing guidance and networking with individuals using the LAMP approach through coaching, mentoring, providing newsletter and social media content, online meetings, and targeted visits. - Offering educational efforts including papers, research articles, educational supports, social media content, and designing presentation content. - Assisting in training and supporting professionals under contract to provide LAMP instruction. - Collaborating with other Center staff, outside experts, parents, and members of the autism community to enhance LAMP instruction and support programs. You should possess the following skills and abilities: - Excellent presentation and communication skills across various settings and audiences. - Strong clinical skills to work directly with clients in communication-related interventions and translate those interactions into informative presentations. - Ability to contribute to a collaborative work environment aligned with the organization's values and mission. - Knowledge of current trends in the diagnosis, treatment, and education of children with autism. - Familiarity with the needs and concerns of the autism community. The qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Education, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or a related field. - 7-10 years of clinical experience evaluating and treating communication-related disabilities of nonverbal clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. - At least two years of experience implementing the LAMP approach with non-speaking clients. - Experience in presenting professional content to groups of peers or team members. - LAMP Certification is preferred.,
