Role Overview: The Production In-charge will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the CBG production plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production of biogas, purification, compression, and bottling. The role requires strong technical expertise in process operations, manpower supervision, and adherence to safety and environmental norms. Key Responsibilities: Plant Operations & Monitoring Supervise and monitor the operation of digesters, scrubbers, compressors, and related equipment. Ensure production targets for gas generation, purification, and compression are achieved. Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions. Manpower & Shift Management Lead and guide plant operators, technicians, and support staff. Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with SOPs. Conduct training for operators on process efficiency and safety practices. Quality & Process Control Monitor gas quality parameters (CH₄ %, H₂S, CO₂ levels, moisture content, etc.). Ensure proper operation of PSA, scrubbing, or membrane separation units. Maintain compliance with BIS/IOCL/HPCL quality standards for CBG supply. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and statutory compliance. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements. Manage waste handling, effluent, and emissions within permissible limits. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Maintain logbooks, equipment history, and downtime records. Support audits and inspections from government and client agencies. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical 8–10 years of experience in process/production operations (preferably in biogas, chemical, or related industry). Strong knowledge of anaerobic digestion, gas purification systems, and compressors. Ability to lead a team and manage shift operations. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with ISO, OHSAS, and statutory compliance. Compensation: As per industry standards and candidate experience.
