We are seeking a motivated and professional Travel Consultant to join our team at Sky-Sketch (India) in Kolkata, located in the Esplanade area. This role involves handling calls, providing exceptional customer support, and addressing queries and concerns related to hospitality, travel, and tourism. The position offers ₹10000 (starting remuneration during the 6-month training period, depending on the candidate's knowledge and experience) within a dynamic environment that provides growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the office operates efficiently. You will need to complete multi-level tasks professionally and on time. *MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR TRAVEL.* The initial contract is for 6 months of on-the-job training. A strong knowledge of geography or a degree/diploma in Travel Tourism and Hotel Management is required.

Students or candidates under 21 years old are not eligible for our recruitment.

There will be a provision for a pay increase during the provisional period for extraordinary performance. Additionally, after confirmation, we have provisions for a performance bonus based on your monthly sales productivity.

Sales do not refer to door-to-door sales. Typically, we receive business from our own client base and online promotions through various social media and websites. If you can generate business independently, you will receive incentives.

*Job Role:* We need an assistant who can help us prepare travel itineraries, handle correspondence through email and other social media with clients' queries, and promote travel on social media platforms. This includes travel blog and content writing for web promotions as needed. Making hotel and transport reservations and issuing air tickets as required is also part of the role. Contracting with new hotels, resorts, and vendors to enhance customer service is essential, as is browsing the internet for off-beat and up-to-date travel information. Itinerary planning, exploring new destinations, managing groups at the airport (FIT and GIT) as needed, and undertaking office management tasks, both indoor and outdoor, if required—such as banking, filing travel documents, data entry, office maintenance, and arranging travel insurance—are also part of the role. These are the basic outlines of your job profile. You will also manage the office in the absence of the CEO. Please focus on itinerary planning, preparing quotations based on client queries, and making phone calls for package promotions and follow-up actions. The ideal candidate should have 0.5-1 year of experience in customer service or as a travel assistant and should be proficient in English, Hindi, and Bengali. You will be responsible for resolving customer complaints, offering relevant information, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary. This position requires a graduate, and the candidate should be willing to work 6 days a week during the day shift, from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
