About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Ladies Tailor who specializes in designing, stitching, and altering women’s garments with precision and creativity. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of cutting, fitting, and finishing, along with the ability to understand customer requirements and deliver high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stitching women’s garments such as suits, blouses, lehengas, gowns, kurtis, western wear, and daily wear outfits.
• Taking accurate body measurements and ensuring perfect fitting.
• Cutting fabric according to design and pattern specifications.
• Performing alterations, adjustments, and repairs as required.
• Working with different fabrics including cotton, silk, chiffon, georgette, velvet, and stretch materials.
• Suggesting suitable designs, patterns, and styling options to clients.
• Maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety in the stitching area.
• Ensuring timely completion of all orders and maintaining high-quality finishing.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Ladies Tailor or Fashion Stitching Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of fitting, pattern making, and garment construction.
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines, overlock machines, and hemming tools.
• Creativity and understanding of current fashion trends.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple orders efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Fashion Designing or Tailoring (optional but preferred).
• Experience working with custom designs or boutique-style garments.
• Knowledge of hand embroidery, decorative stitching, or value-added garment work is a plus.
