Job Description

As a laboratory technician at Continental, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operations of the laboratory. Your duties will include preparing buffers, stocking supplies, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies. Additionally, you will be in charge of equipment maintenance and updating associated logs. It is crucial to keep all procedures and processing areas clean and organized to uphold quality standards. You will play a key role in testing nanomaterials according to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and releasing acceptable products. Furthermore, you will conduct testing for product validation and process validation on existing products, and publish data accordingly. Supporting the Operations department with process qualifications and validations for procedures and equipment is also part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will assist in maintaining the product testing database, performing statistical analyses related to product specifications, and supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. Effective communication with management regarding assignments, schedules, and task prioritization is essential to meet assigned due dates. Adherence to company safety and quality standards is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment. To qualify for this role, you should have an ITI or Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering. A background in Chemical or Mechanical engineering is preferred.
