Lab Technician

Role Overview: As a Lab Technician, your role involves performing various bio-chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will be responsible for recording lab test results, assisting in technical activities, and preparing written documentation as required by your superior. Additionally, you will assist in tasks related to quality assurance and carry out all assignments given by your superior. Your responsibilities will also include preparing requisition forms, maintaining records of specimens sent to reference laboratories, processing specimens following standard operating procedures (SOPs), storing samples to maintain integrity, and disposing of old samples. You will be responsible for transcribing materials, filing and organizing pathology and clinical laboratory files, conducting quality control measures, adhering to turnaround time (TAT) requirements, and strictly following safety guidelines outlined in the SOPs.
