Lab Technician

As a Material Testing Lab Technician at our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards by conducting tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Working closely with the Technical Director, your responsibilities will include: - Conducting material tests on various types of materials such as tensile strength, hardness, elasticity, and chemical composition - Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate and safe testing procedures - Preparing materials and samples for testing while ensuring the integrity and consistency of sample preparation - Operating and maintaining testing equipment like universal testing machines - Recording and analyzing test data, as well as writing reports of test results - Supporting the R&D team with material evaluations for new projects and product development Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Sc./Graduate degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, or a related field - Previous experience working in a materials testing laboratory is preferable - Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and tools - Ability to write clear and accurate reports - Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures If you meet these qualifications, you can look forward to a competitive salary based on your experience.
