Job Description

We are seeking an experienced LabTechnician to join our Quality team at DTC Good Earth, Joka. This role iscrucial in ensuring concrete quality standards, managing material testingprotocols, and maintaining accurate production records for our high-riseresidential construction projects. The successful candidate will work closelywith our QA/QC Manager to oversee batching plant operations, implement sitequality control measures, and ensure compliance with IS codes and industrystandards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily Testing Quality Checks

Conduct daily checking andtesting of raw materials, including cement, fly ash, aggregates, soil, steel,and finishing materials

Execute trial mix testing andvalidate mix design specifications

Perform daily moisturecorrection calculations to ensure concrete quality standards

2. Batching Plant Operations

Oversee concrete productionmaintenance at the batching plant

Ensure mix design complianceand consistency

Monitor batching operationsfor quality adherence

3. Site Quality Management

Monitor site qualityparameters, including curing processes

Prevent honeycomb formationthrough proper inspection

Maintain cube register andconduct post-concrete checks

Ensure adherence to qualityprotocols at construction sites

4. Documentation Reporting

Prepare accurate test reportsfor all material testing activities

Maintain daily records forconcrete casting activities

Handle production entry inERP system with precision and timeliness

Document quality controlmeasures and compliance records

5. Inventory Management

Maintain material stockinventory

Coordinate with procurementteams for timely material availability

Track material consumption and quality parameters

Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Diploma inCivil Engineering OR

B.Tech inCivil Engineering

Experience:

5-8 years ofhands-on experience in concrete testing and quality control

Constructionindustry experience, preferably in residential high-rise projects

Proven trackrecord in material testing and quality assurance

MUST-HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS

Extensivehands-on experience in concrete testing and trail mix preparation

Provenexpertise in mix design development and validation

Materialtesting proficiency: Cement, Fly ash, Aggregate, Soil, Steel, Finishingmaterials

Strongunderstanding of IS codes and quality standards for construction materials

Test reportpreparation and documentation skills

Experienceworking with batching plants in construction sites

PREFERRED SKILLS

Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

Hands-onexperience in batching plant handling and operations

Knowledge ofERP systems for production tracking

Familiaritywith high-rise residential construction projects

Understandingof QAQC protocols in construction

Ability toread and interpret technical drawings
