We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Chemist to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and food science, with a focus on quality control, product testing, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting various laboratory analyses, testing raw materials, ingredients, and finished products to ensure they meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Laboratory Testing

  : Perform a wide range of chemical, physical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished food products to assess their quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.

• Quality Control

  : Monitor product quality, ensuring consistency and compliance with food safety standards, regulatory guidelines (FDA, USDA, etc.), and internal company standards.

• Prepare Samples and Solutions

  : Accurately prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for analysis, and ensure proper calibration of laboratory equipment.

• Troubleshoot Analytical Equipment

  : Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues related to the analysis.

• Compliance with Safety Standards

  : Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines (e.g., OSHA, GMP).

• Collaborate with R&D and Production

  : Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D) team to develop new products or optimize existing formulations. Provide data for product innovation and improvements.
