Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Collect, label, and process biological samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.).
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per standard protocols.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
Record test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
Assist pathologists/medical officers in diagnostic procedures.
Ensure compliance with NABL/ISO/organizational quality standards.
Maintain stock of laboratory reagents, consumables, and request supplies as required.
Follow all safety, biohazard, and infection control guidelines.
Handle patient queries related to lab testing, sample collection, and reporting.
Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
13 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital setup (freshers may also be considered).
