LAB Incharge

Role Overview: As the Lab Incharge at our company, you will be responsible for managing the fabric and garment testing laboratory. Your role will involve ensuring that all tests are conducted in accordance with international standards and buyer requirements, maintaining accuracy, reliability, and compliance in all testing activities to contribute to the overall quality assurance process. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day laboratory activities and testing schedules. - Conduct various fabric and garment tests including shrinkage, GSM, tensile/tear strength, color fastness, pH, appearance after wash, and accessories tests. - Ensure that all tests are performed following ISO, AATCC, ASTM, and buyer standards. - Prepare and maintain accurate test reports. - Ensure the lab meets buyer compliance and audit requirements. - Stay updated on international testing methods and buyer protocols. - Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment regularly. Qualification Required: - Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, or a related field. - Minimum 4-7 years of experience in a garment/fabric testing laboratory. - Experience with buyer audits and compliance is preferred.
