Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Manage and supervise the daily operations of the medical laboratory, ensuring the highest quality of testing and diagnostic services. Lead and coordinate the activities of lab staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy in lab procedures. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines within the laboratory. Oversee the proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments. Perform and supervise complex biochemical tests and analysis on patient samples. Manage inventory of lab supplies and ensure timely ordering and stock management. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution of any lab-related problems. Provide leadership and training to laboratory staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Develop and implement lab procedures and protocols to improve operational efficiency and quality. Maintain proper documentation of test results, reports, and patient data in compliance with regulations. Communicate with doctors, medical professionals, and patients when required regarding test results and procedures. Qualifications : Education : BSc or MSc in Biochemistry or a related field. Experience : Proven experience in medical laboratory operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a medical laboratory setting. Leadership experience is essential. Strong knowledge of medical biochemistry and laboratory techniques. Familiarity with laboratory management systems and quality control procedures. Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform complex biochemical tests. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Preferred : Male candidates, Skills : Strong leadership and managerial skills to oversee laboratory operations and manage staff. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with medical professionals and other team members. Excellent command of laboratory equipment and techniques, with a focus on quality assurance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
