Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Lab Chemist to join our Quality Control team at our Ferro Alloys plant in Bhubaneswar. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in industrial laboratory operations, analytical techniques, and quality assurance processes in a metallurgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products under supervision.
• Learn to operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as:

– Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES)
– Carbon-Sulfur Analyzer– Muffle Furnace– Titration Equipment– pH Meters and other analytical instruments

• Support in preparation and standardization of chemical reagents.
• Help maintain accurate records, reports, and calibration logs.
• Follow lab safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in training sessions and skill development programs.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory.
• Support inventory management for lab chemicals and consumables.

Key Requirements:

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry or equivalent (specialization in Industrial/Analytical Chemistry preferred).
• Strong academic foundation in chemistry and laboratory practices.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to industrial lab environments.
• Good observational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions diligently.

Preferred Attributes:

• Internship or project experience in a chemical or metallurgical lab (if any).
• Familiarity with basic lab instruments and safety procedures.
• Eagerness to build a career in quality control and industrial chemistry.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
