Job Description

As a Cloud System Engineer at Infogain, you will be responsible for providing support to end-users on hardware, XStore, ORPOS software, and other store system related issues. Your primary duty will involve receiving and tracking trouble tickets, assigning them to technical specialists, ensuring resolution within SLAs, and maintaining user satisfaction. You will collaborate with Level 3 and other escalation points to resolve technical issues and provide remote access support through VPN connections. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong team player qualities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and independently. Your passion for helping people, resolving issues, and taking ownership of ticketed problems will be crucial. Initiative in utilizing available resources, troubleshooting skills, and understanding documented service levels are essential for this position. Moreover, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer/user support role, proficiency in Windows 7 and internet usage, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment. Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are highly valued. Knowledge of Retail POS systems, particularly Micros Xstore version 7, SQL server, databases, and Xstore functionality, will be advantageous.
