KYC - AVP

You will be part of Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS), a subsidiary of Mizuho Bank, Ltd, established in 2020 to handle banking and IT operations globally. As a KYC Assistant Vice President for the APAC region based in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your responsibilities include conducting KYC reviews, performing enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with various teams to address KYC-related issues. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field. - 10-12 years of experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance. - Strong knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks and global AML standards. - Proficiency in KYC/CDD systems and tools. - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - Prior KYC SME experience is advantageous. Preferred Skills: - Professional certifications in KYC/AML/FCC. - Experience in KYC Onboarding, Periodic reviews, Remediations, and Financial Crime Compliance. - Multilingual capabilities, especially in APAC region languages. - Risk Assessment & Management, Regulatory Compliance, Data Analysis & Due Diligence.
