Deploy, configure, and optimize VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and VMware Cloud environments. Manage and troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines (VMs) . Implement high availability (HA), failover, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for VMware environments. Automate VMware infrastructure using VMware Aria Suite (formerly vRealize) . Develop workflows, blueprints, and policies using VMware Aria Automation and Orchestrator . Utilize Terraform, Ansible, and PowerCLI for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Enhance self-service automation capabilities for infrastructure provisioning. Develop automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python . Customize Aria Automation workflows with Java scripting. Integrate APIs and SDKs for VMware automation and cloud services. Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps (ADO), and GitHub Actions . Deploy and manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes Tanzu, AKS, EKS). Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk . Ensure IAM, RBAC, and security hardening across VMware environments. Implement network segmentation, firewall rules, and data protection policies . Conduct regular patching and vulnerability assessments to maintain security compliance. Maintain detailed architecture diagrams, runbooks, and automation scripts . Document best practices and troubleshooting guides . And finally, youre open and borderless naturally inclusive in how you work with others Required Technical and Professional Experience 7+ Years in VMware technologies: vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX, and VMware Cloud. Hands-on experience with VMware Aria Suite (vRealize): Aria Automation, Aria Operations, and Aria Orchestrator. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerCLI. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), and GitHub Actions. Hands-on experience with containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (Tanzu, AKS, EKS). In-depth knowledge of security best practices, IAM, RBAC, SSL/TLS, and vulnerability management. Experience with monitoring and logging tools: VMware Aria Operations, Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a complex VMware and DevOps environment. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience with network automation and VMware NSX policies. Knowledge of multi-cloud management (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with GitOps principles for Kubernetes and VMware automation. Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation in cloud environments. Strong Agile and DevOps mindset, with experience working in Scrum teams. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) vSphere, NSX, or Cloud Management & Automation. HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders effectively. Experience in collaborative environments, working closely with development, security, and operations teams. Passion for continuous learning and improvement in automation and DevOps.
