Kubernetes Engineer

This is a full-time role in the product organization seeking a Kubernetes Engineer with expertise in systems design and large software development. The role involves designing and implementing CI/CD tooling using GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps, defining build and test pipelines for containerized architectures, infrastructure as code (IaC), RBAC, linting, gitops, and managing SaaS deployment APIs. You will be responsible for assisting in the design, engineering, and administration of Azure Kubernetes AKS clusters for critical business applications. Collaboration with application, engineering, security, and operations teams is essential to engineer Kubernetes and Azure PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile operating model. The ideal candidate should have the ability to quickly learn new concepts and possess domain expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Kubernetes solutions - Communicating solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Collaborating with team members using tools like git in a secure, effective, and scalable manner Qualifications: - Advanced Kubernetes experience - GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) - Proficiency with Docker & Containers, Custom Helm charts, and Linux - SRE experience for mid to large enterprise systems - Cloud architecture experience with a major cloud provider (Preferred Azure) - Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Custom Controllers, Custom CRD, and service mesh - General DevOps experience - Software Engineering background is a plus Practices, Principles, Techniques: - CI/CD - Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) - Release Communication and Collaboration - Security and Compliance - TDD (Test Driven Development) Certifications (Optional): - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert - CKAD and/or CKA certifications Please be cautious of scams.
