About the Role

Tap-to-Pay Merchant/Consumer Application

Responsibilities

• Develop a

  consumer Tap-to-Pay / Wallet app

  using Kotlin + Jetpack Compose
• Implement

  HCE (Host Card Emulation)

  and

  Google Wallet APIs

• Work with tokenization systems for

  virtual cards

  ,

  loyalty cards

  , or

  stored-value accounts

• Build features including:
  
• Card provisioning
• Contactless Tap-to-Pay flows
• Transaction history
• Rewards, offers, loyalty
• Card management (freeze, unfreeze, limits)
• Integrate backend services for user profiles, payments, security, and wallet data
• Ensure strong

  app security

  : biometrics, encryption, protected storage
• Optimize NFC payment performance and reliability
• Implement

  Compose UI

  screens for consumer flows
• Build automated tests for reliability across devices
• Collaborate with UX for wallet-style animations and smooth transitions
• Work closely with compliance teams around PCI DSS and secure payments

Required Skills

• 25+ years experience in Kotlin Android development
• Strong proficiency in

  Jetpack Compose

• Experience with

  HCE / NFC payment flows

• Understanding of digital wallets, tokenization, and EMV contactless payments
• Experience integrating

  REST/GraphQL APIs

• Strong knowledge of

  Kotlin Coroutines, Flows, and modern Android architecture

• Strong debugging and UI performance optimization skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with

  Google Wallet

  Card Issuer APIs

• FinTech or digital wallet background
• Experience with

  Kotlin Multiplatform
