As a Transcriber at Macgence, you will play a vital role in accurately transcribing audio recordings into text in multiple languages including Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Mizo. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality and error-free transcriptions by adhering to linguistic and formatting guidelines. It is essential to perform quality checks and corrections to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the transcription process. To excel in this role, you must have 1.5 to 2 years of transcription experience along with proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding the specified languages. Strong listening skills are crucial as you will be required to distinguish various accents and dialects during transcription. Familiarity with transcription tools and software is preferred to streamline the transcription process efficiently. Collaboration with the project team is key to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to project guidelines. Working within deadlines is essential to meet project requirements and deliver high-quality transcriptions. Your willingness to work onsite in Noida, Sector 63 for the contract duration is highly valued. Preferred qualifications for this role include prior experience in media, translation, or content-related transcription work. Additionally, knowledge of basic linguistic rules and grammar for the respective languages will be beneficial in producing accurate transcriptions. This position offers a contractual/temporary job type with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.
