We are forming a specialised Android squad to build FDA-compliant, Kotlin-first apps for a billion-dollar health-tech platform (client name confidential). Your work will run on tablets and phones used daily by clinicians and patients worldwidesoftware that simply cannot fail. What Makes This Role Exciting Greenfield + Legacy modernisation craft new modules in Jetpack Compose while refactoring existing code into clean architecture. Deep integration BLE peripherals, secure real-time data sync, offline workflows, custom camera + barcode, biometrics. Engineering ownership – influence architecture, CI/CD, security, and performance from day one. Global collaboration – pair with US & EU experts on coding standards, code reviews, and mobile DevOps. Compliance challenge – learn FDA, HIPAA, and 21 CFR Part 11 practices—career-accelerating knowledge. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain high-performance Android apps in Kotlin (90% Compose) . Lead migration from XML to Jetpack Compose and implement MVVM / Clean Architecture patterns. Integrate REST/gRPC services, WebSockets, and low-energy Bluetooth devices. Optimise for battery, memory, accessibility, and security (OWASP MASVS). Write unit, UI, and instrumentation tests; champion TDD and CI/CD (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps). Perform code reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and uphold style guidelines. Collaborate with design, backend, and QA to deliver sprint goals and compliance artifacts. Contribute to mobile release pipeline, Play Store deliverables, and post-release monitoring. Must-Have Skills 5-8 years Android development; 3+ years in Kotlin with strong Jetpack component knowledge. Production experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines / Flow . Hands-on with MVVM, Dagger/Hilt, Room, WorkManager . Proficient in unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso, Roboelectric). Experience integrating BLE , secure REST/GraphQL APIs, and real-time sockets. Familiar with Play Store policies, rollout tracks, and crash analytics (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry). Solid Git, code review, and Agile-Scrum practice. Nice-to-Have Exposure to medical, fintech, or other regulated domains. Experience with Flutter or React Native. Knowledge of KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) . Job Description: iOS Developer,Hands-on experience in developing native iOS applications KMM, Swift and Objective C . Understanding of design patterns, memory management, file I/O, concurrency, and multithreading. Knowledge of working with network & battery optimisations, APIs, external libs, sdks, Analytics, UI, visualizations & animations Preferred knowledge on Connectivity, Bluetooth protocols/ BLE. Working knowledge and hands on with Database management such as SQL and contemporary technologies at their backend Experience in Unit Testing and TDD practices. Usage of XCTest and See test frameworks Published one or more applications in an iOS Appstore and knowledge on the process of making the app live. Experience of working on applications with react native is a plus. Able to create a UI and UX that would make the app simple to use and delight users. Able to fix the occurring bugs and iteratively improve the app, include newer features and keep the app up to dated with all the iOS updates/ libraries that will be released. Have an eye for new upcoming technologies and be able to evaluate and implement the same to enhance the development efficiency. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience 6-8 years of experience on iOS based mobile applications and systems development Strong command on Swift and Objective C. Exposure towards Android SDK Strong knowledge of the various packages on the iOS App development stack layouts, widgets, content providers, touch handling, drawing, location services, media interfaces, network, storage, security/cryptography, sqlite, etc. Knowledge of web services and serialization techniques like REST, SOAP, XML, JSON & framing Strong penchant for Object Oriented Design and CS fundamentals Experience of working with version control, bug tracking, continuous integration and other productivity enhancement software like TFS, Bugzilla, Jira etc. Prior experience in working in Agile software methodologies Taking responsibility and ownership in the team's work, team player and good communication skills B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification,Requirement for EMS activities, that are transferred from IT.
