Job Description Summary Perform tasks related to receiving, warehousing and releasing materials, Job Description Roles and Responsibilities EHS and 5S Safety Board updates on daily basis, Green cross entries, Flash 5 meeting during shift change. Doing 5S on daily basis, Rearranging of shipments time to time, Utilization of vertical space for better space usage. Material Receiving Document verification, unloading, Entry in the Register, Physical counting, Labelling and offering for inspection. GRN preparation Preparation of GRN in SAP. Coordinating with CFT for MIGO status, Pricing details for PVC clause parts & schedules if any Binning Moving the accepted materials to storage respective locations defined in SAP Subcontracting Material dispatch. Picking materials as per the dispatch advise received from SCM, Loading into the vehicle, Preparation of documents & dispatch of goods to vendors for sub assembly Material Kitting Picking materials as per Production order released. Arranging materials in Kitting trolly. Posting in SAP and Movement of materials to shop floor. Shelf life items, FIFO and Chemicals Management Monitoring shelf life items and timely escalations for expired items, FIFO system follow up. Chemicals Management like maintaining MSDS, Expiry monitoring, Storage in Secondary container and Hazardous scrap disposal Perpetual Inventory ABC classification of parts, Day wise cycle count as per schedule advised by Finance dept @ 150 parts per day. Annual Physical inventory Creating zones, Zone wise leaders identification, Recounting, Tagging, Data entry, report consolidation and submitting to Finance dept, Adjustment entries after getting approval from Finance Scrap selling price Coordinating with Indirect sourcing & E-auction team to get the auction conducted. Price negotiation and finalization. Getting Approved scrap selling price list for every 6 months. Scrap disposal Coordinating with Scrap dealers for vehicle placing, empty vehicle weighment, scrap loading, Loaded vehicle weighment, preparation of Internal Scrap Disposal Note, Collection of funds from Dealer, Getting approval for invoice from Finance and Vehicle releasing MIS Coordinating with CFTs for arriving COGI & ZPP0004 report and passing transactions to clear the pending value. Circulating Back flushing and consumable inventory to CFTs to take necessary actions by pulling the shortage materials in time to avoid line stoppage. Required Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Engineering Minimum 3 -6 years experience with B.E. / B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background Experience in Ware Management / Inventory Management. A Mechanical Kitting Technician oversees the process of assembling and organizing mechanical parts, tools, and materials into kits used in manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance operations. Their main role is to ensure that all necessary components are prepared and available for technicians or assembly teams to perform their tasks efficiently and without delays. Key Responsibilities: Kitting Process Management Supervise the collection and packaging of mechanical components according to work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), or assembly instructions. Ensure kits are complete, accurate, and delivered on time to the appropriate departments. Inventory Oversight Monitor stock levels of parts and materials used in kits. Coordinate with procurement or warehouse teams to replenish items as needed. Identify shortages, obsolete items, or discrepancies and take corrective action. Team Supervision Lead and train a team of kitting technicians or material handlers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and enforce safety and quality standards. Quality Control Verify that all components in a kit meet quality specifications. Implement checks to reduce errors, mis-picks, or missing items. Workflow Coordination Communicate with planning, engineering, and production departments to understand kitting requirements. Adjust priorities based on production schedules or urgent needs. Documentation Reporting Maintain accurate records of kitted items, inventory movements, and kit delivery. Generate reports related to kitting accuracy, efficiency, and performance. Role Cluster Warehouse & Logistics Lead Job Level/ Designation M3 – GM Function / Department Commercial Location Circle Location Job Purpose This role is very critical in today’s scenario. The role includes (but not limited to) handling of multiple cluster warehouses & their efficient operations for all categories The position handles Circle Warehousing and Logistics Operations (Capex, Opex/Marcom and SRN). Responsible for efficient Materials management (network equipment, Tradable, Marcom) and warehousing excellence to support network expansion and make best supply chain delivery of Tradable and Marcom to entire geography of Circle Responsible for management of the WH, SRN (including Repair/Return), Opex (Sales & Marketing), and all Zonal warehouses in line with organization policies Now with fast changing technology (2G,3G,4G, 5G) there is lot of action on network swap and efficient site return management. While rendering efficient logistics (forward & reverse) and warehousing the position also focuses on value engineering opportunities The key job purpose of the role is to have complete monitoring, control, reconciliation and reporting on the warehouse(s) and their inventories by adhering to the highest levels of warehouse standards on all aspects (i.e., warehousing, housekeeping, safety and security, scrap disposals etc.). A custodian of huge company assets, complex operations and handling of large 3PL workforce (40+) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities This position is an active enabler in the following key deliverables- Support Huge network roll out and help telecom network modernization as per business plan Efficient SCM of tradable (distribution) to support Revenue generation (Kitting to Delivery). No stock outs can be afforded in the trade, in full delivery of POP and Merchandising items to enhance brand visibility Warehousing- The role requires handling of end to end warehouse management of multiple warehouse(s) in the cluster for Network, Opex (SIMs), Marcom (PoS etc.). The role has to cater to important deliverables by maintaining minimum cost, high efficiency, safety and 100% compliance to HSW Managing huge Network roll-out, swap activity, consolidation of network, huge SRN transactions and scrap disposals Maintain strict inventory controls and minimum Warehouse Residency to ensure high Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR). Handle multiple local transporters (sometimes politically influenced) and local unions to ensure optimum & timely availability of HSW compliant vehicles for network roll-out Most of the workforce (going upto 50+ numbers per Circle) is less educated (low skilled and/or semi-skilled labours), still the position needs to support timely network roll out and efficient tradable supply chain. Continuous engagement of Drivers, labourers through Trainings, team development & motivation Often serves calls beyond duty due to business urgencies from user functions Warehouse operations for minimum 6 days a week (and sometimes even on Sundays to meet the business requirement) – almost 12-14 hours a day Space Management (manage more in less) Ensure appropriate stock of SIMs to support business growth Short notice from Sales team to organize Sim Kitting and dispatches of Tradable (which are the main source of revenue) GST compliance for stock transfer, market dispatches, reverse logistics, SRN, Swap and Scrap Most importantly this position manages the physical area, assets, labours, 3 PLs on ground and all the time supports business growth.
