Role & responsibilities * Utilize BIM software (such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley MicroStation) to create 3D models, parametric families, and construction drawings * Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and libraries for project teams. * Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate their design and engineering disciplines into the BIM model. * Conduct regular coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and ensure interdisciplinary coordination. * Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details, using BIM software. * Create high-quality renderings and virtual reality (VR) experiences to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders. * Perform regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications. * Implement and enforce BIM project protocols and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. * Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BIM technology and recommend improvements to enhance project delivery. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a BIM Architect or in a similar role. Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley MicroStation. Strong knowledge of building design, construction methods, and codes. Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Familiarity with interoperability standards and protocols (IFC, COBie, etc.). Knowledge of 4D and 5D simulations and visualization tools is a plus. Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are advantageous.
