Kindergarten Teacher

As a Kindergarten Teacher at Oakland Early Explorers, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where young minds can begin their educational journey with confidence, curiosity, and joy. Your role will involve: - Creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Montessori and activity-based learning methods - Fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured play, storytelling, music, and hands-on activities - Maintaining a warm, positive, and organized classroom environment - Observing, assessing, and documenting each child's progress and sharing updates with parents - Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times - Collaborating with other teachers and staff on school events and learning programs - Communicating professionally with parents and addressing any concerns in a timely manner Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred - Montessori training or certification is a strong plus - Minimum 2 years of experience in a preschool or kindergarten setting - Excellent communication skills in English and Telugu - Warm, patient, and creative approach to teaching - Basic tech familiarity (smart classrooms, activity screens, etc.) is a bonus The company offers a supportive and family-like work environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, modern classrooms with interactive teaching tools, opportunities to lead events and festivals, paid holidays, seasonal breaks, and a yearly bonus.
