Job Description: Kindergarten Teacher (Pre-Primary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate lessons and activities based on the kindergarten curriculum.
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Use play-based, activity-oriented teaching methods to enhance learning.
• Encourage language development, basic numeracy, creativity, and motor skills.
• Maintain classroom discipline through positive guidance and care.
• Observe and assess students’ progress and maintain individual student records.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and well-being.
• Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, and learning materials as required.
• Participate in school events, training programs, workshops, and meetings.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Qualifications (As per CBSE Norms – Pre-Primary/KG Teacher): Essential Qualifications:

• Senior Secondary (Class XII) or equivalent from a recognized board
• Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education (NTT) / Pre-Primary Teacher Training (PPTT)
• OR
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)

(from an NCTE-recognized institution)Desirable Qualifications:

• Graduation in any discipline
• Montessori / ECCE certification
• Basic knowledge of child psychology and early childhood pedagogy

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude towards young children
• Ability to handle young learners with empathy and responsibility
• Classroom management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for academic documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
