Kinaxis Consultant - RapidResponse Platform

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with clients to understand their unique business needs and challenges. Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the implementation of Kinaxis RapidResponse.

Kinaxis Configuration & Customization

Design, build, and configure Kinaxis RapidResponse applications tailored to business requirements. Develop and implement data models, system integrations, and custom scripts within the Kinaxis environment. Ensure accurate and efficient flow of data within the platform.

Project Delivery & Support

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (both internal and client-side) to ensure the successful delivery of Kinaxis projects. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot issues in implemented solutions. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement

Stay up to date with advancements in supply chain planning technologies and the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform. Proactively recommend enhancements to existing solutions to improve performance, usability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or equivalent supply chain planning software.

Technical Skills

Kinaxis RapidResponse Expertise

• Deep functional and technical understanding of Master Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Advanced scripting experience using Kinaxis-specific languages (e.g., RapidTables) for data manipulation and custom workflows.
• Experience in integrating Kinaxis with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, WMS) using APIs, ETL tools, or middleware.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining data models in Kinaxis to ensure high-quality and consistent data flows.
• Ability to create, customize, and manage analytical reports and dashboards within Kinaxis, and optionally connect with BI platforms.

Data & Analytics Skills

• Strong SQL expertise for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Proficient with data visualization and analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake concepts is advantageous.

Cloud Technologies

Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with cloud-based supply chain solutions is a plus.

Project Management

Comfortable working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira or Asana.
