Keyboard Music Teacher

As a Carnatic Vocal & Keyboard Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students from Grade 4 to Grade 8. Your main work locations will include Chennai, Erode, Salem, Vellore, or Gobichettipalyam. Your duties will involve helping students understand how to read music, covering aspects such as rhythm, tempo, melody, and harmony. You will be expected to monitor and document student progress through report cards and engage in parent-teacher conferences as required. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing students for music competitions, concerts, and solo performances. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Music, Vocal Performance, or a related field. Additionally, proven experience as a Voice Teacher or Vocal Coach is preferred. A strong grasp of vocal techniques and music theory is essential for this position. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effectively working with students of various ages and skill levels. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role. Familiarity with different musical genres and styles is advantageous, and the ability to play a musical instrument is considered a plus. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The yearly bonus is an added benefit of this role.
