Job Description

Role Overview: As a Key Account Manager for Schools English in South India, your main responsibility will be to manage and cultivate relationships with high-value schools and school networks in India and South Asia. You will play a crucial role in promoting English language products and services, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to revenue and impact targets for the Schools English portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of high-value school customers and school groups, serving as the primary relationship manager. - Develop and implement Account Plans to retain and expand business from key accounts. - Establish long-term, trust-based relationships with school decision-makers and influencers. - Handle the account management tasks for Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze accounts and track progress. - Ensure smooth onboarding of new partner schools and seamless delivery of English exams and learning services. - Collaborate with Exams Operation, Propositions, and Customer Services teams to address operational issues. - Conduct regular check-ins, review meetings, and feedback loops with schools. - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within managed accounts. - Achieve or exceed KPIs related to revenue, customer retention, and satisfaction. - Engage with large school chains with multi-city presence in coordination with the Lead and regional colleagues. - Maintain accurate account records and pipeline updates using CRM tools. - Monitor account performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - Utilize customer insights to contribute to product and service development discussions. - Collaborate with Marketing to customize campaigns for account-specific needs. - Work closely with colleagues across South Asia to align on best practices and school engagement strategies. - Participate in regional forums and team learning initiatives. - Collaborate with the K12 and CIE teams on ILA and A&A lead conversions and GTM. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or B2B client relationship roles. - Experience in the education or services sector, particularly working with schools or institutional clients. - Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a dynamic environment. - C1 Level of English in CEFR. Desirable: - Familiarity with the English language education ecosystem in India. - Understanding of international school curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB, etc.). - Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics). - Exposure to working with multi-location or pan-India accounts.
