Job Description

As a Key Account Manager for Higher Education and Skills (HE) English in North India, your primary responsibility is to manage and enhance strategic relationships with high-value Higher Education and Skills networks across India and South Asia. You will be driving the adoption of English language learning and assessment products and services, aiming to increase customer satisfaction and contribute to revenue and impact targets for the Higher Education and Skills English portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of high-value customers and Higher Education groups, developing and executing Account Plans to retain and grow business, building trust-based relationships with decision-makers, and fulfilling account management tasks for different account levels such as Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. You will also be responsible for ensuring effective onboarding of new partner Higher Education and Skills, coordinating with internal teams for smooth delivery of services, identifying upselling opportunities, meeting revenue targets, maintaining accurate account records, and using customer insights to inform product development discussions. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as you will be coordinating with Marketing for tailored campaigns, working closely with colleagues across South Asia, participating in regional forums, and collaborating with the Academic team of CUP for portfolio account management. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or B2B client relationship roles. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and proficiency in English language are essential. Familiarity with the Indian English language education ecosystem, international curricula, CRM tools, and experience with multi-location accounts are desirable. Key competencies required for this role include relationship management, customer-centric approach, strategic sales thinking, organizational and time management skills, problem-solving ability, proficiency in digital tools and CRM, as well as collaboration and teamwork skills. Frequent travel within India will be required to meet and support key Higher Education and Skills accounts, as per business needs and travel policy.,
