Kayak Guide

Department: Front Office Reports To : Front Office Manager Job Summary: The Kayak Guide is responsible for leading kayaking tours, ensuring guest safety, delivering engaging and informative experiences, and maintaining kayaking equipment. The ideal candidate has excellent paddling skills, a strong understanding of water safety, and a passion for nature and guest service. Key Responsibilities: Lead guided kayak tours for guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Provide safety briefings and paddling instructions before each trip. Assess weather, water conditions, and guest capability prior to launching. Monitor guest safety throughout the tour; respond promptly to any emergencies. Share information about local wildlife, history, and environmental features. Maintain, clean, and store kayak equipment properly after each use. Report any safety concerns, damaged equipment, or incidents to supervisors. Assist with other resort/recreational activities as needed. Promote eco-friendly practices and educate guests on responsible tourism.
