The ideal candidate will also have strong experience in Java , JavaScript , and relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL . The role involves end-to-end participation in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering to deployment and support. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable applications on the Pega platform . Work with Java and JavaScript as part of application logic and customization. Design and interact with relational databases ( Oracle/MySQL ). Test, debug, and deploy applications on production servers. Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure alignment of the application with business architecture and client requirements. Monitor application performance and implement necessary enhancements. Integrate legacy systems, databases, and online services with the Pega platform. Troubleshoot application issues, resolve code errors, and eliminate performance bottlenecks. Conduct system performance testing and validation. Maintain confidentiality and ensure data and code security. Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments in Kubernetes environments. Utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD, managing automated tests and deployment pipelines. Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning in an agile environment. Take full ownership of features with mentorship from senior engineers. Required Skills Strong Python expertise: Proficient in idiomatic Python, async patterns, type annotations, unit testing, and modern libraries. API Development: Solid experience building and scaling RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs in production. GraphQL: Familiarity with frameworks such as Strawberry, Graphene, or similar. Containerization: Practical experience with Docker and container-based workflows. CI/CD: Knowledge of GitHub Actions for test automation and deployment processes. Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-driven work style.
