The job involves bringing new business and doing sales, profitably for the company i.e. balancing the pricing and costs in a sustainable manner. Type: Full time Position Title: Development Officer (Sales) Business: Road Transportation and Logistics Experience: 3 years+ (logistics and transportation business development or a directly related sales role) Office Location: Flexible (Traveling and in-office) Work Days: Monday to Saturday CTC: Fixed CTC 4,80,000 + Variable Unlimited based on working margin (A well networked and experienced sales person should easily make estimated 9,60,000+ per annum). Health insurance benefits provided upon completing one year. Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, WhatsApp, and Google Drive Technical Knowledge: Types of vehicles, basics of cargo handling and transport/logistics terms Responsibilities: Identify, develop, and manage new business and sales Prepare and present customized proposals and quotations as per client requirements Provide timely updates to the client. Coordinate between client and operations team for terms and cost of the job Work closely with the operations team to ensure alignment between client requirements and execution capabilities. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and closures through internal systems and reports Stay updated with logistics terminology, market trends, and basic customs clearance processes to offer informed solutions to clients.
