Kafka Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Kafka Administrator to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and managing Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability and performance of our data streaming platform. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design and implement Kafka solutions that meet our business needs. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters in production and development environments Monitor Kafka performance and troubleshoot issues related to brokers, producers, and consumers Implement best practices for data ingestion, retention, and processing within the Kafka ecosystem Develop and maintain documentation regarding configuration, processes, and procedures Optimize Kafka cluster performance and capacity planning Work closely with application teams to understand data flow requirements and provide support for Kafka integration Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator or in a similar role Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, streaming concepts, and related technologies Experience with Kafka management tools such as Confluent Control Center, Kafka Manager, or similar Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai Employment Type: Full-time Benefits Work with one of the Big 4's in India Show more Show less
