Junior WordPress Designer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Junior WordPress Designer who possesses a strong enthusiasm for web design and a desire to develop and advance within a cooperative team environment. You will play a role in the creation and upkeep of visually attractive, responsive WordPress websites utilizing themes, page builders, and plugins.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the design and revision of WordPress websites using tools such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.

2. Proficient in other CMS like Duda, Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce

3. Modify themes and perform essential HTML/CSS edits.

4. Maintain and troubleshoot websites, including:

- Content-specific sites

- eCommerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce)

- Plugin updates

- Security check

- Website review

- Spam entry

- Database size

5. Optimize websites for Google Core Web Vitals and overall performance.

6. Ensure that websites are mobile-friendly and conform to design best practices.

7. Incorporate AI tools (when applicable) for improving productivity and content generation.

8. Collaborate with senior designers and developers on upcoming projects.

9. Support the uploading of content, minor bug fixes, and updates to plugins.

10. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Troubleshoot issues and maintain existing WordPress websites.

Key Requirements:

1. A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in WordPress design.

2. Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and the WordPress content management system.

3. Acquaintance with page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg.

4. A keen eye for design, layout, and user experience.

5. A strong desire to learn and enhance skills.

6. Capable of handling multiple projects and adhering to deadlines

7. Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, UIchemy, etc., for ideation or content support (preferred but not mandatory).

8. Good communication and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
