Junior Video Editor

We are seeking a passionate Junior Video Editor who is eager to kickstart their journey in the creative field and is already familiar with tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and AI-based editing assistants. If you are someone who enjoys experimenting with new techniques, has a knack for storytelling through video content, and is driven to learn and progress, we would be thrilled to have you on board. This role is ideal for an individual who may not have extensive experience yet but possesses qualities of curiosity, consistency, and creativity. As a Junior Video Editor with us, your responsibilities will include editing captivating short-form and long-form videos for various platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Reels, and promotional material. You will collaborate with AI-based tools such as Runway ML, Pika Labs, or Descript to streamline and enhance editing processes. Additionally, you will utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for creating smooth transitions, animations, and a professional finish. Working closely with our content and tech teams, you will generate ideas and refine your skills based on constructive feedback. This role offers hands-on projects to facilitate your learning and growth - while we will provide guidance, your eagerness to learn is crucial. The ideal candidate for this position is a fresher or entry-level editor with up to 1 year of experience, comfortable working with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects at an intermediate level. You should have a curiosity about and some exposure to AI tools, a basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, and video aesthetics, and the ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and welcome feedback. Experience with YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, or short-format content is a plus. Additional skills that would be beneficial include knowledge of social media trends, meme culture, and viral editing styles, familiarity with collaboration tools like CapCut, Canva, VEED, or Notion, and basic audio editing or sound syncing abilities.
