Junior Technician-Spinning

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Spinning Technician to manage and support spinning operations, ensuring machines run efficiently, and product quality meets the required standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in spinning processes and technical expertise in handling spinning machinery. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, and maintain spinning machines (Carding,Drawframe & Vortex). Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of spinning machinery to minimize downtime. Monitor yarn quality parameters like count, strength, Uster values, and ensure consistency. Identify defects in yarn production and implement corrective actions promptly. Support production targets by optimizing machine performance and process parameters. Maintain machine settings as per product specifications and ensure smooth machine operation. Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Keep accurate records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and production reports. Ensure workplace safety and adhere to company policies and quality standards. Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Qualifications & Experience: D.Mech, ITI-Fitter & B.E.Mech Minimum 3-5 years of experience in spinning operations. Strong knowledge of spinning processes and machinery. Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of spinning equipment. Understanding of yarn quality parameters and testing methods. Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
