Job Description

Role Overview: As a technical writer, you will actively participate in documentation planning processes, comprehend product features, and collaborate with project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation. Your crucial role involves creating and refining technical documents such as manuals, reports, brochures, and articles to present complex information clearly and engagingly. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare comprehensive requirement documents including FRS/CRS, SRS, SDD, User Manuals, and various technical and non-technical documents, along with Use Cases and Process Flows. - Acquire proficiency in project-specific documentation tools like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and XML to refine technical writing abilities. - Develop and update technical documentation according to client requirements, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and alignment with product functionality. - Gain a comprehensive understanding of software products and features being documented by testing them based on documented procedures. - Actively participate in project team meetings, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, and suggest enhancements for documentation quality standards. - Assess the specific needs of the target audience, tailor tone and technical terminology for optimal comprehension. - Strategize and set well-defined timelines and deadlines for writing processes, showcasing strong multitasking capabilities and understanding of technical writing standards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in English/ Computer Science or a related field. - Excellent command of written English with strong grammar knowledge. - Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation. - Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in documentation. - Basic understanding of software development processes and quick learning of new technologies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills. - Eagerness to learn actively and contribute to team success and projects. - Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality standards. - Proficiency in editing and proofreading colleagues" work to enhance overall output.,
