Junior System Administrator

As a System Administrator at Primotech, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing software, hardware, and networks. Your resourcefulness will be crucial in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. Communication skills are essential as you will interact with interdisciplinary teams and users. Your primary goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing networked computer systems, ensuring data security and regular backups, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, monitoring system performance, and suggesting improvements. Additionally, you will provide technical support and document processes for employees to follow within our computing system. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a system admin role, knowledge of network protocols, hands-on experience in configuring and managing Firewall rules and ACLs, and familiarity with router/access point configurations. Experience with databases, networks, system security, and scripting languages like Python or Perl is desired. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as MCSA.
