Junior System Administrator

We’re Hiring: Junior System Administrator
Location: Kochi (Onsite)
Work Days: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and system management? We're looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our in-house IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational system administration knowledge and a strong desire to grow in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance, health status, and logs
• Provide support for Windows and Linux-based systems
• Perform data backups and assist with recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage NAS storage and VPN configurations
• Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Assist with IT policy enforcement and audit readiness
• Collaborate effectively with the IT team

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Windows/Linux OS and CLI-based tools
• Familiar with basic networking, routers, switches, and system troubleshooting
• Understanding of NAS, VPN, and firewall setup
• CCNA and/or RHCSA certification preferred
• Familiarity with firewall administration is a plus
• Strong problem-solving attitude and time management skills
• Proactive and eager to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
