Job Description

Junior Surveyor Job Responsibilities ( Mivan High-Rise Residential Projects )

Work Location : Financial District - Gachibowli | Hyderabad.

Site Layout and Marking:

Assist in setting out points, levels, and lines using total station and auto level.
Mark structural elements like columns, walls, beams, and slab edges as per RCC and shuttering drawings.

Daily Level Checking:

Check verticality and horizontality of shuttering and reinforcement before concrete work.
Ensure accurate slab, floor, and plinth levels.

Mivan Shuttering Alignment:

Support senior surveyors in checking Mivan formwork alignment and plumb.
Ensure shutters are placed as per approved dimensions.

Instrument Handling:

Operate and maintain survey instruments like Total Station, Auto Level, and Theodolite.
Ensure calibration and proper usage.

As-Built Surveys:

Record and report actual measurements post-concreting.
Prepare as-built drawings or sketches for site records.

Coordination:

Work closely with site engineers, QA/QC team, and formwork contractors.
Assist in resolving any discrepancies in layout.

Documentation & Records:

Maintain daily survey records and instrument usage logs
Submit measurement reports and layout checklists.

Safety & Accuracy:

Follow safety practices during surveying tasks.
Ensure accurate measurement to avoid rework or structural errors.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Mivan technology and RCC drawings.
Understanding of floor-wise grid system in high-rise buildings.
Good command of measurement tools and MS Excel.
