Junior Supervisor

• Allocate work to fabricators, fitters, and helpers as per production schedule.
• Ensure quality standards and correct dimensions during fabrication.
• Monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and assembly processes.
• Maintain shop floor discipline, safety, and housekeeping.
• Report daily production and manpower status to senior supervisor/manager.
• Assist in achieving production targets and deadlines.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, bending, fitting).
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
• Basic knowledge of quality checks and measuring instruments.
• Leadership and team-handling ability.
• Problem-solving skills.

• Supervise daily machine shop operations.
• Handle CNC/VMC/lathe/milling machines and allocate work to operators.
• Ensure proper tool usage, machine setting, and quality of components.
• Monitor machining parameters to achieve production efficiency.
• Maintain records of production and machine utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance practices.
• Support in troubleshooting and solving shop floor issues.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of machine operations (CNC, VMC, Lathe, Milling, Drilling).
• Understanding of machining drawings and tolerances.
• Familiar with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauge, etc.).
• Leadership and team coordination.
• Strong focus on quality and productivity.
