Junior Specialist Accounts Receivable

As a Junior Specialist in Accounts Receivable at Springer Nature Group, you will be part of a team responsible for cash allocations and accounting processes. Your role will involve working on various tasks within the cash allocation process, ensuring timely and professional resolution of tasks. It is essential to have a detailed understanding of Order to Cash/Accounts Receivable processes in an international environment and be available to work in European shift timings (12.30 pm IST to 21.30 pm IST). **Key Responsibilities:** - Working as an AR agent and completing cash allocation activities on a first level - Performing manual postings as requested - Communicating with the AR team at Springer Nature - Creating or updating existing SOPs and process log updates - Processing bank statements - Clearing unallocated cash and following up for remittance advice - Identifying opportunities for process improvement and sharing ideas - Handling Ad-Hoc requests **Qualifications Required:** - Graduation in Commerce - Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable experience in an international environment - Fluency in English (Verbal & Writing) - Experience with SAP (preferably S4Hana) - Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking - Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Proficiency in Excel Automation such as VBA/Macro creation would be an added advantage Springer Nature values diversity within its teams and fosters an inclusive culture where individuals are treated fairly, bringing their differences to work environment.
