Junior Social Media Marketing Manager Job

About the job:

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead the social media strategy and execution for our agency and client brands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media calendars, boosting community engagement, analyzing performance, and staying ahead of trends. You will work closely with content creators, designers, and performance marketers to grow brand presence and achieve business goals across social platforms.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each platform and brand 2. Plan monthly content calendars aligned with campaign goals and brand tone 3. Collaborate with designers and writers to create engaging content, including posts, reels, stories, carousels, and videos 4. Curate relevant third-party content to enhance brand credibility and value 5. Manage publishing across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest 6. Ensure timely posting and consistency in brand messaging 7. Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions 8. Build and nurture online communities by engaging with followers and influencers 9. Analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, followers, etc.) and prepare reports 10. Use insights to optimize content and posting strategies 11. Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates 12. Experiment with new content formats, hashtags, and engagement tactics 13. Coordinate with clients and internal teams (design, content, ads, SEO) for seamless execution 14. Align social content with ongoing campaigns, product launches, and events

Other Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field

2. 1 year of experience in social media management, preferably in a digital or creative agency

3. Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and emerging platforms

4. Experience with scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, and Canva

5. Ability to manage multiple accounts and adapt tone of voice to suit different brands

6. Portfolio or examples of past social media work are a plus
