Junior Simulation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting structural, thermal, and fluid flow simulations using FEA and CFD tools to support design and engineering decisions. Your role will involve validating and interpreting simulation results, providing actionable recommendations to design and manufacturing teams, developing and automating simulation workflows, documenting technical findings, and creating simulation reports and presentations. It is essential to stay updated with the latest trends in simulation tools and methodologies, particularly in industrial and smart manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct structural, thermal, and fluid flow simulations using FEA and CFD tools. - Validate and interpret simulation results and provide actionable recommendations. - Develop and automate simulation workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency. - Document technical findings and prepare simulation reports and presentations. - Stay informed about the latest trends in simulation tools and methodologies. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, and CFD tools like ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, Simcenter STAR-CCM+. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, or a related engineering field. - Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in FEA and CFD simulation roles. - Strong understanding of engineering principles including solid mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics. - Working knowledge of CAD tools, such as Siemens NX. - Familiarity with meshing techniques and model setup for static and transient analyses. - Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automating simulations is a plus.
